The first College Football Playoff ranking is out and Twitter had plenty to say about Texas A&M being the No. 4 team.
The first official College Football Playoff ranking came out on Tuesday night, and there was a huge surprise for everyone. While everyone thought that the undefeated Washington Huskies would be the No. 4 team in the rankings, they were not. Instead, the one-loss Texas A&M Aggies are the No. 4 team and currently would be slotted in a rematch against Alabama.
The Aggies have been impressive this season and by virtue of only losing to Alabama, their resume looks really good. It also helps that they have a big win over No. 9 Auburn as well on the season. After the Aggies were the surprise No. 4 team in the country, Twitter had plenty to say about them being in the first top-4 projected.

Texas A&M has beaten 3 top 25 teams this season and Auburn who's looking powerful right now and played Alabama as good as anyone could've.

Just as is the case with every College Football Playoff ranking, fans of other teams get mad when their teams get snubbed. The Aggies are certainly a surprise team that got in, but the list is likely to keep on changing as chaos continues in college football.
The playoff committee has successfully done one thing and that is raise the stakes of SEC football over the final month of the season. The wild ride is only just beginning.
