Chicago Cubs outfielder Dexter Fowler led off Game 7 of the World Series with a huge home run.

Talk about leading a game off. With Game 7 of the World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs set to make history on Wednesday night, Dexter Fowler made sure he got his team on the board first. Despite Corey Kluber being tough to get a hit against lately, Fowler got the biggest one that his team needed.

Fowler would take Kluber deep and it would carry over the center field wall for the first run of the game. There would be silence in the air, as the Cubs once again brought their bats to the yard in the very first inning.

This is the third time on short rest that the Cubs have gotten an extended look at Kluber. That can prove to be an advantage if they are able to make adjustments. Fowler clearly was ready for what was about to be thrown his way and made the most of it.

As for the Indians, it was yet another nightmare start after they gave up three runs in the first inning the night before. With everything on the line in Game 7, the Cubs got the best start they could have hoped for.
