Yankees fan LeBron James wished the Cleveland Indians good luck before their World Series Game 7 vs. the Chicago Cubs.
LeBron James raced from the Quicken Loans Arena to Progressive Field on Tuesday after his Cavaliers knocked off the Houston Rockets only to see the Cleveland Indians get thumped by the Chicago Cubs to force a World Series Game 7. So today he took to Twitter to wish his hometown baseball team good luck.
James knows a thing or two about playing in a winner-take-all game because he brought the city their first championship since 1964 when the Cavs toppled the Warriors this past summer.
Two greatest words in Sports "Game 7". Good luck to the boys tonight! Live in the moment & The game will play itself out. #RallyTogether

James, who is a Yankees’ fan, has supported the Indians and has been at the stadium several times during the Tribe’s playoff run. However, this may be one Game 7 for the ages because Cleveland has to go back to 1948 for their last baseball championship and they are up against a Cubs team that makes that look small compared to their plight that dates back more than a century.
The Indians probably have their back against the wall even though they are playing at home. They have let a 3-1 lead disappear causing this Game 7 and the Cubs appear to be breaking out of a team-wide offensive funk in the postseason.

In the final game of the 2017 MLB season, the Cubs could very well have the edge because they are going against the Indians ace, Corey Kluber, who was instrumental in a 1-0 win in Game 3. But that was on normal rest. Tonight, on three days rest, he goes up against National League ERA leader Kyle Hendricks and it is a good bet neither will be around long enough to be credited with the win if their managers see the slightest blip in their performance.
The Cubs will win if they can get to Kluber early. The Indians will win if they can get to Chicago’s bullpen.
Then the world will wait for LeBron’s next tweet.
