The No. 15 LSU Tigers will host the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night. Here is a game preview, the betting odds and a final score prediction.
College football has a few high-profile games on the slate in Week 10. The marquee game in the SEC will be on Saturday night, as the No. 15 LSU Tigers will host the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide. Kickoff from Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on November 5 will be at 8:00 p.m. ET. CBS will have the telecast.
Alabama is one of four undefeated Power 5 teams entering November. The Crimson Tide are coming off their Week 9 bye at 8-0 (5-0). They are the presumed favorite to represent the SEC in the third annual College Football Playoff. Will this be another championship team for Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa in 2016?
LSU has rebounded marvelously after firing long-time head coach Les Miles early in the season. The Tigers are 5-2 (3-1) on the year, and are playing great ball for interim head coach Ed Orgeron. Should the Bayou Bengals knock off the Crimson Tide, they have a shot at winning the SEC West in 2016. LSU would need to win out in SEC play to get to 7-1. They would also need the Auburn Tigers to fall in the Iron Bowl at regular season’s end to Alabama to get to Atlanta.

Should the Crimson Tide be able to get another defensive or special teams touchdown, look for Alabama to win on the road in Death Valley and cover the point spread. This one should go down to the wire in Baton Rouge, but Alabama is the better team on Saturday night on Nov. 5.
