College Football Week 10: FanSided expert picks and predictions

Week 10 is here and the FanSided staff is ready to make their college football picks and predictions for the week’s biggest games, including Alabama vs LSU.

The calendar has flipped to November and we are headed down the crucial final stretch of the college football regular season. The first College Football Playoff rankings were released on Tuesday night with Alabama, Clemson, Michigan and Texas A&M occupying the four playoff spots. Surprisingly, undefeated Washington was on the outside looking in, but the Huskies can play their way in over Texas A&M with the toughest stretch of their schedule still remaining.

The same can be said for No. 1 Alabama who has a win over A&M as its signature win of the season but they can add to that with games remaining against Auburn and LSU, who they’ll see this week in Baton Rouge.

Alabama-LSU has been the most anticipated game in the SEC for the last several years and this year’s game takes on an interesting complexion with Les Miles no longer on the sidelines and Ed Orgeron coaching for a full-time gig. He’s undefeated since taking over and he has Leonard Fournette in the backfield to help his cause. He is coming off a career-high and LSU record 284 yards vs Ole Miss but was held to 31 yards on 19 carries last year vs. the Crimson Tide.

Can LSU pull off the upset against Nick Saban and bring some chaos to the playoff rankings?
