The Chicago Cubs players reacted to winning the World Series on Twitter.

After falling down 3-1 to the Cleveland Indians in the World Series, the Chicago Cubs held firm in their belief that they were still going to win the World Series. The team was able to win a big Game 5 at home, to give them two road games to try and complete the comeback. On Wednesday night, the Cubs were able to win an emotional Game 7 in extra innings and put themselves in the history books.

After the game, the players took to Twitter to share their excitement. They all used a lot of caps and exclamation points and it was all worth it. Some even posted pictures of the World Series trophy that they won as well.

It’s a special moment for each of these players. They fought until the bitter end and when things looked darkest, they dug in and played the best baseball of their lives. Stories and movies will forever tell the story of the Chicago Cubs until the end of time.

It’s hard to believe that this day would ever come for the franchise, but they were committed to making it right when they brought in Theo Epstein. This team is built to compete for a long time and for many more World Series titles.
