The NBA has nine games on tap for tonight to kick off the weekend in style with an ESPN double-header they’re billing as “home-coming” focusing on Dwyane Wade and Derrick Rose. From the early games in the East to the nightcap out West, there are plenty of storylines to follow in what should be some good matchups for DFS fantasy basketball. If you’re building a lineup for tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides as a place to start putting your dream team together.

More from DraftKings

As usually on Friday, the action starts at 7:00 PM ET which is when DraftKings lineups lock for the night. (Remember, no more late-swapping). The early game tonight is a nice one as the Hawks coming north to take on the Wizards in Washington who are still looking for their first win of the season. In other Eastern Conference action, the Raptors host the Heat, the Hornets visit the Nets, and the Bulls welcome in the Knicks in that first game of ESPN’s double-header. Out West, the Grizzlies look to stay unbeaten at home as they host the Clippers, the Pelicans and Suns face off in a matchup of two struggling teams, and the Mavs keep looking for their first win of the season as they host the Blazers. In the two late games the Jazz host the Spurs at 9:00 in a rematch of their game from earlier this week while the Lakers take on Kevin Durant and the Warriors at 10:30. The Warriors are the only team on the second night of back-to-back games while the Hawks, Bulls, Clippers, Spurs, and Wizards all have games tomorrow in addition to their game tonight.

To help you sort through the plethora of players from the 18 teams taking the floor tonight, I’ve selected my top plays for my DraftKings daily picks this Friday on the following slides. My goal each day is to give you the information you need to build your own customized lineup to get you a win however you participate in DFS contests. In order to help you find what you need, I’ve separated my picks by position and price. You’ll find two slides per position–the first slide will feature the best high-salary options followed by some high-value options which cost less but still offer solid returns. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.

I rank my picks for each contest using stars after each explanation to show the relative strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my personal lineup for today’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to check out my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

Just a reminder that in my DraftKings daily picks, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DrafKtings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on the fantasy basketball hub.
