Here’s how to watch Saturday’s ACC matchup between the Duke Blue Devils and Virginia Tech Hokies online.
The No. 23 Virginia Tech Hokies will try to maintain their slim lead in the ACC Coastal Division when they visit the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday afternoon at Wallace Wade Stadium.
After coming over from Memphis in the offseason, first-year Hokies head coach Justin Fuente has already been a success with a 6-2 record to begin his tenure. The Hokies have bounced back from a head-scratching loss to Syracuse on October 15 with back-to-back Thursday night wins over Miami and Pittsburgh. Virginia Tech’s 4-1 mark matches North Carolina at the top of the Coastal, but it has the tiebreaker after crushing the Tar Heels 34-3 earlier in October.
Along with Bud Foster’s always-solid defense, Fuente has helped turn around the Virginia Tech offense quickly. The Hokies are averaging 36.2 points per game behind a strong season from first-year starting quarterback Jerod Evans, who has over 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns to just two interceptions.

It’s been a down year for David Cutcliffe’s team after the Blue Devils won their first bowl game since 1960 a season ago. Duke did pull off a big upset of Notre Dame near the end of September but is off to a 0-4 start in conference play, including a loss to lowly Virginia.
Cutcliffe’s offense has struggled with quarterback Thomas Sirk and running back Jela Duncan out due to injury. Backup quarterback Daniel Jones has been asked to do a lot with nearly 1,900 passing yards, 276 rushing yards on 82 attempts, and 14 total touchdowns.
