Looking at the best GameDay signs from Baton Rouge in Week 10 of the college football season ahead of the huge Alabama vs LSU matchup

Thank heavens, ESPN College GameDay is back in SEC country. Though there have been matchups outside of the conference worthy of their shot, there’s one thing that no other power-5 conference does quite like the SEC: GameDay signs. SEC students and fans always bring the noise when it comes to their sign game and that’s been evident in recent weeks with some admittedly lackluster showings. That was never going to be the case ahead of Alabama vs LSU in Baton Rouge in Week 10.

With the rivalry that these two schools have, there’s always plenty of fodder for GameDay signs. There’s of course going to be shots taken at Nick Saban, the current Alabama head coach and former LSU coach. Moreover, everyone is always going to take aim at Lane Kiffin because, well, it’s just so easy. Then you throw in the players in this matchup and it’s like a haven for great signs.

Only making the GameDay signs better for this Week 10 matchup in 2016, though, is the stakes of this game. Sure, these two teams are often among the best in the country. But LSU has the chance to really spoil the party for the Crimson Tide if they can win at home in Death Valley on Saturday.

With all of this coming into play, it was wild in Baton Rouge for College GameDay on Saturday morning. Let’s take a look at the best GameDay signs from Week 10:

As for this matchup on Saturday night, LSU is far from being the more complete team when matched up with Alabama. However, having the best player on the field is always and ace-in-the-hole. Leonard Fournette occupies that space, without question. If he gets rolling in this one—which he’ll need to for the Tigers—an upset could be brewing.
