We have points in Alabama/LSU! Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Hurts scrambles into the LSU end zone off a bootleg to put Alabama on the board.
The No. 13 LSU Tigers and the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide were scoreless through three quarters in the SEC West rivalry game in Baton Rouge on Saturday night. It was a defensive struggle with both SEC powers fighting for field position.
Alabama was previously denied on a goal-line stand by the strong LSU defense. It would take a few possessions, but Alabama would break this scoreless tie on a Jalen Hurts 21-yard rushing touchdown.
Neither team could move the chains aerially in this game. Both pass rushes were too dominant for either quarterback to have enough time to go vertical. Hurts had fumbled and thrown an interception in this game, but took advantage of Alabama’s great field position on this drive.

Hurts would break two tackles near his ankles and get a block at the goal line to find pay dirt on this 21-yard scamper. Alabama would extend its lead by a point on the made Adam Griffith PAT. It wasn’t an easy PAT, as the snap and hold were not pretty to say the very least. Will this touchdown by Hurts be enough to lead Alabama to victory over the rival Tigers in LSU and stay undefeated?
