A look at the undercard results from the card that’s headlined by Manny Pacquiao taking on Jessie Vargas
Saturday night it’s time for another big-time boxing event as the 2016 calendar year comes to a close. On Saturday night in Las Vegas, Manny Pacquiao will be making a comeback from his short-lived retirement to take on Jessie Vargas in a welterweight bout.
However, as is always the case, the main event isn’t the only fight taking place on Saturday night inside the Thomas and Mack Center. No, there are a few undercard fights that will pique the interest of boxing fans as well.

These are the three fights that you will see taking place on Saturday night in Las Vegas, and they’re more than a passable appetizer for the main event of the evening in Pacquiao vs. Vargas when the night comes to a close.
Maybe the under-the-radar fight of the entire card is the battle between Zou Shiming and Prasitsak Phaprom. For the second time in the last two years, Shiming will be making a bid for a flyweight championship. Last March he was downed in a bid for the IBF title, and on Saturday night he’ll be searching to capture the WBO flyweight title.

Then, right before the main event, we’re getting a much-anticipated junior featherweight title bout as Nonito Donaire will be making the second defense of his WBO junior featherweight championship against the No. 1 contender in Jessie Magdaleno, who has stopped 17 of his 23 professional opponents in his career.
