Texas running back D’Onta Foreman had himself a day on Saturday and he topped 300 yards with this scoring run
While the Texas Longhorns have been the butt of a lot of jokes this season, the fact of the matter is that they do have some talented players on this team. One of them is a running back that definitely doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves, D’Onta Foreman.
Well after the performance that he put on Saturday against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, a lot more people will hopefully begin to take notice of what this young man can do.
Foreman, on Saturday, just absolutely torched the Texas Tech defense. Now generally, that doesn’t sound like a tall task, seeing as the Texas Tech defense is one of the worst in the nation. But this performance was other-worldly, as Foreman broke 300 yards with this scoring run.
Again, even with the Texas Tech defense being as bad as it is, this performance Foreman put on Saturday against the Red Raiders is just insane. Whenever a running back goes over 300 yards, no matter who it’s against, it’s an accomplishment that deserves some recognition.

Texas might not be having quite the season that it’d hoped for, but you can see that there is some talent on this team to get excited about. With Foreman being a junior there is no guarantee that he will be returning next year, but if he chooses to do so, Texas will have one of the best running backs in the country and someone who will surely be a preseason Heisman contender. Again, that all depends on if he wants to return to Austin, as his NFL prospects might be high after the season he’s having thus far.
One thing is for sure: Neither Foreman nor any of us will forget what we saw here on Saturday.
