The West Virginia Mountaineers are coming off their first loss of the season, but will welcome hapless Kansas to Morgantown on Saturday. Here is how to watch online.
The West Virginia Mountaineers suffered their first loss of the season last week, as they got beat pretty soundly by Oklahoma State. Running back Russel Shell was injured in the first half, and did not return, leaving the Mountaineers short-handed at the position the rest of the way. Junior transfer Justin Crawford is good enough to pick up the slack if Shell is out again this week, but he is likely to play.
This week, they should be able to get back on the winning track, as they face arguably the worst program in the FBS. Kansas will be looking to avoid a 40-game losing streak on the road while trying to win their first game against an FBS team in their last 21 tries. The Mountaineers are the No. 14 team in the country, so don’t expect any kind of upset on Saturday.
West Virginia absolutely tears it up on the ground, and are averaging over 200 yards per game this season. The combination of Shell and Crawford have wrecked havoc on their opponents, and are the reason the team has rushed for over 150 yards nearly every game over the past two seasons. West Virginia is going to roll, and the only real question is whether they will cover the 34 point spread.
Here is how to watch all of the action online.

It has been a rough couple of years of Big 12 play for the Kansas, who have not won a conference game since 2014. That trend will continue on Saturday, though there should be some growth from quarterback Montell Cozart. West Virginia is going to be hungry after losing their first game of the season, and the Jayhawks just happen to be the next team up.

Next up for West Virginia are two huge Big 12 games, as they play Texas and Oklahoma in consecutive weeks. Kansas is going to be a cakewalk, but those two games definitely loom large in the Mountaineers quest to win the Big 12. My prediction for Saturday is a 41-10 West Virginia victory.
