Marquette King rides the pony after awesome punt (Video)

Oakland Raiders punter Marquette King is having fun this year. Here he is riding the pony after pinning the Denver Broncos deep in their own territory.
The Oakland Raiders haven’t been this good in 13 years. Oakland is leading its AFC West rival Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football in Week 9 late in the third quarter. This is the biggest game the Raiders have played in since 2006.
The Raiders are winning the field position battle and that has Oakland punter Marquette King all sorts of excited. Here he is riding the pony after he pinned the Broncos deep near their own end zone. King is having a blast playing for this team.
Knowing that the Broncos are a defense-first football team with a lousy offense, pinning Denver inside of their own five-yard line is essentially forcing them to go three and out.
King has been a solid punter in Oakland since his rookie year in 2012, replacing one of the very best ever in Shane Lechler, now with the Houston Texans. Oakland has always taken pride in its special teams. The Raiders were the team that Ray Guy became the first punter to reach Canton playing for.

Oakland may not win the AFC West this season, but this year feels different in the Bay Area. The San Francisco 49ers are a terrible football team across the bay. The Raiders are certainly one of the six best teams in the AFC this season. King has reason to celebrate. Riding the pony is a fun way to show his enthusiasm for Raiders football.

Should Oakland hold off the Broncos at home, the Raiders will improve to 7-2 on the year. Only the Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots would have a better record in the NFL at 7-2 on the year.
