Nebraska vs Ohio State highlights, score and recap
Ohio State crushed Nebraska 62-3. Here is a look at what happened during Saturday night’s game between the Big Ten schools.
On Saturday night, No. 6 Ohio State and No. 10 Nebraska went head-to-head in what was slated to be one of the best Big Ten matchups of the season. Nebraska has been one of the most improved teams in the country. After the Cornhuskers lost to Nebraska in an overtime thriller, it was believed that they would be determined for a victory with their trip to Columbus. Well, things didn’t go as planned for Nebraska as Ohio State controlled the game from the start.
On the opening drive, Ohio State was gifted seven points as Nebraska’s quarterback Tommy Armstrong tossed an interception to Damon Webb, in which he scampered to the end zone. With said interception, it provided a huge boost for the Buckeyes.
After falling behind early, Nebraska would get on the scoreboard with a field goal, but it would be their lone score of the night.

Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong received a scare as he was injured in the second quarter. Armstrong was immobilized and carted off the field, then was taken to OSU Hospital for further evaluation. After a brief stint at the hospital, Armstrong returned to the sideline, which was a great sign for the Cornhusker faithful.
Armstrong was later replaced by Ryker Fyfe who didn’t provide enough spunk to revive the sputtering Cornhusker offense.
For the rest of the night Nebraska struggled as they were stuck at three points while the Buckeyes reeled off a total of 62 points, which included 48 straight points by Terry McLaurin, Curtis Samuel (twice), Noah Brown, Mike Weber Jr., Tyler Durbin, Malik Hooker, and Joe Burrow.
Having two top teams playing during in a pivotal conference game, it was slated to be a memorable matchup, but instead it was a rout in favor of the Buckeyes as they won the game in convincing fashion 62-3.
