Week 10 of the 2016 college football season was fantastic. Here are the weekly superlatives for Week 10 as a part of College Football Blitz.
Week 10 of the 2016 college football season is in the books. The College Football Playoff picture gets a little bit clearer. Only a few teams still have a shot at making the four-team playoff at regular season’s end.
On Saturday, we saw a lot of great offensive showings and some hard-nose defense across the Power 5. Here are the weekly superlatives as a part of College Football Blitz.

Offensive Player of the Week: Washington Huskies QB Jake Browning
Washington Huskies sophomore quarterback Jake Browning continues to keep himself in the 2016 Heisman Trophy race with another impressive performance in Week 10 against the California Golden Bears in Berkley on Saturday night.
Browning completed 19 of 28 passes for 378 yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions. More importantly, No. 5 Washington dismantled Cal on Saturday night, 66-27, to move to 9-0 on the season. Washington might get into the top four of the next College Football Playoff rankings after this dominating performance.

Browning may not be the favorite to win the 2016 Heisman Trophy, but he continues to put together outstanding offensive performances week after week. This one might have been Browning’s best of 2016, on par with the evisceration he put on the awful Oregon Ducks.
Washington is the best team in the Pac-12 and Browning is the best player on the 2016 Huskies. The Apple Cup against arch rival Washington State should be a real treat in the Pac-12. It might have been late on the East Coast, but Browning made it worthwhile to watch college football in the wee hours of Sunday morning.
