Previous: . Baltimore Ravens. 24. team. 26. In has been one of the best rivalries in the league in recent years. And John Harbaugh’s club wound up holding on for dear life in a win over the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers. Baltimore struck first late in the first quarter as Joe Flacco connected with one-time Steelers’ wideout Mike Wallace for a 95-yard touchdown. Thanks to their kicking game and special teams, the Ravens owned a 21-0 fourth-quarter lead before staving off a frantic rally by Ben Roethlisberger. The veteran quarterback threw for one score and ran for another. But the Steelers attempt at an onside kick was downright embarrassing.
Next Week: Now tied for first place in the AFC North, the 4-4 Ravens host the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. At one time, Hue Jackson was a part of the Baltimore coaching staff under Harbaugh. You will recall in Week 2 that the Browns owned a 2-0 lead against the Ravens in Cleveland. But Joe Flacco and company rallied for a 25-20 victory.

Playoff hopes: Talk about a wacky start? The Ravens would open 3-0 and proceeded to lose four straight games before holding on to beat the Steelers on Sunday. Baltimore now owns a 2-0 record within the division and it looks like there will once again be a dogfight for the AFC North title.
. 4-4
