Hockey Night In Canada is a tradition in many Canadian households. It features teams from Canada and is shown weekly throughout the NHL season. On Nov. 12, there will be three games featuring three Canadian teams. Here’s the HNIC schedule for Nov. 12. Coverage will start at 6:30 PM EST.
At 7:00 PM EST, the Toronto Maple Leafs will visit the Pittsburgh Penguins at the PPG Paints Arena. Auston Matthews and William Nylander have led Toronto to a surprising strong start. Meanwhile, the Penguins are back on board after getting their captain Sidney Crosby healthy. They’re one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference. This will be the first time Crosby and Matthews will do battle in an NHL game.
The Montreal Canadiens will host the Detroit Red Wings at the Bell Centre for a 7:00 PM EST faceoff. This game features two Original Six teams who have one of the best rivalries in the NHL. Even if the rivalry hasn’t meant too much as of late, many great moments have occurred when these two teams play. Montreal is off to an excellent start to their season, entering the week as the top team in the Eastern Conference. On the other side of the ice, the Red Wings are fighting for one of the two wild card spots in the East.

To conclude the night, the New York Rangers travel to the Scotiabank Saddledome to take on the Calgary Flames. The Rangers have been one of the best teams in the league, leading the league in scoring entering the week. Meanwhile, the Flames are in a rut and have not lived up to expectations so far this season.
