College Football Picks Against The Spread November 8-11
College football can be a fickle beast. It is still easier to pick against the spread than the NFL, but when you pick every game, it can get tough. I struggled a bit last week so I still have a big hole to dig myself out of.

In case you don’t know what I do here, I pick every college football game of the season. Against the spread. Trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds! I take the average of the odds from all of the Vegas casinos. I then round to the nearest half. There will be no ties here. Ties are for the other football (soccer).
This contains the picks for FBS vs. FBS games only. It is too hard to get an accurate spread on games that involve 1-AA teams.
I will assign a point value “bet” on each game, between one and five points. That way you can see just how confident I am in each pick. Look for those at the end of each line.
This is for entertainment purposes only! I cannot be responsible for you losing any of your worldly possessions (or limbs) because of my picks. These are a guideline that you can use to help you with your picks. I am a simple man. I can’t have that on my conscience.
We have another 59 game weekend this week, with Tuesday night MACtion kicking it off tonight. I haven’t got to tallying up last week’s games yet, but I don’t think I did very well. Big surprise, right?
Let’s get to the pre-Saturday picks for the week!
Eastern Michigan at Ball State(EVEN)(4): This should not be an even line. Eastern Michigan has regressed a little, but they are still the better team. By a larger margin than this suggests. Give me the Eagles.
(23)Western Michigan(-21.5) at Kent State(3): I don’t like that half, but the Broncos need style points if they want to crash the New Year’s Six party. Give me Western Michigan.
Bowling Green at Akron(-9.5)(2): I’ve been burned by Akron more times than I can count. Is that a good reason to take Akron? No, but good reasons have meant very little this year. Give me Akron.
Toledo(-6.5) at Northern Illinois(3): The Huskies are playing well right now, but the best player on the field is still Toledo RB Kareem Hunt. For under a touchdown, I have to take the Rockets.
(21)North Carolina(-10.5) at Duke(4): How will Duke replace Brandon Ingram? It looks like another battle on Tobacco road at Cameron……..wait……I’m getting ahead of myself. This is football? UNC by a lot!
Louisiana-Lafayette at Georgia Southern(-8.5)(3): Georgia Southern put a scare into a solid Ole Miss team last week. They will still be a little beat up from that, but Lafayette is pretty awful. This is too low. Give me GSU.
(16)Utah(-5.5) at Arizona State(4): The Utah offense is nothing special, but the Arizona State defense will make it look like it is. Utah by at least a touchdown.
Boston College at (22)Florida State(-21.5)(2): Louisville trounced Boston College last week, but I think the gap between Louisville and Florida State is pretty wide right now. That half seals it. I’m taking BC.
