Incredibly, Jake Browning finishes third on our list this week, after tossing for six touchdowns against Cal on Saturday night. As the Washington Huskies took the opportunity to show that they belong in the College Football Playoff, Browning staked his claim as one of the best quarterbacks in the nation. The sophomore has taken the college football landscape by storm this season, as Washington has proven to be the class of the Pac-12.

Against Cal, Browning hit his two favorite targets for a bunch of touchdowns, as Dante Pettis and John Ross each collected three scores in the game. Ross racked up over 200 yards receiving, while showing that he just may be the best wide receiver in college football. Browning needed only 19 completions to toss his six scores, as the Huskies beat the Golden Bears, 66-27.

For the season, Browning is putting up video game numbers, and has led the Huskies to a perfect 9-0 record. The signal-caller has thrown for 34 touchdowns against only three interceptions, while putting himself in the conversation for the Heisman Trophy. With the Texas A&M loss on Saturday, the Huskies appear poised to be in the College Football Playoff at the end of the season, if they can win out.
