Another week, another dominating performance from Lamar Jackson, who is the clear front-runner for the Heisman Trophy as the schedule moves to Week 11. Playing against a bad Boston College team, Jackson went off, putting the Eagles away early. By the time the two teams went to their locker rooms for halftime, Jackson had already accounted for five touchdowns, as the Cardinals eventually beat the Eagles, 52-7.

For Jackson, the dominating first half gave him four games with at least five touchdowns in a half. For the season, Jackson has collected 45 touchdowns, as he has been the most dominating college football player we have seen in a long time. Louisville is on the outside looking in at the College Football Playoff, but they are certainly not out of it by a long shot.

Only a sophomore, Jackson has been the best player in college football since collecting eight touchdowns against Charlotte in the Cardinals’ first game of the season. The only blip on their record was an instant classic loss to Clemson, where Jackson had over 450 yards of total offense. His season will likely end with a Heisman Trophy, but for now, expect a couple more huge games from Jackson as the season winds to a close.
