As the 2016 Election results poured in on Tuesday night, Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade wasn’t really all about it.

Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade has been enjoying quite the surprising start to his first season with his new team. Many people expected the Bulls to be a dumpster fire with the additions of Wade and Rajon Rondo. Instead, they’ve been winning and fun to watch to start the year. Wade seems to have made the right choice and is enjoying his new home. However, he was not enjoying himself on Tuesday night during the 2016 Election results coming in.

Just a few days after Wade and friend/former teammate LeBron James helped introduce Hillary Clinton at a rally, the Democratic presidential candidate saw her projected win start to crumble. Regardless of your affiliation, it was a shocking result based on pre-voting projections and polls.

However, Wade was clearly in favor of Hillary and the Democrats. So as he apparently watched everything unfold on Tuesday night, Wade let everyone know he was not feeling what was happening:

Nothing like expressing deep political concern with a GIF of a puppy. If nothing else, that is the American way. However, it’s clear that Dwyane Wade is just as shocked by what happened on Tuesday night as everyone else who believed the polls to be at least semi-accurate.

Wade isn’t the only NBA player that offered comments on the 2016 Election throughout the night. (Not that we should be surprised by that.) Patrick Patterson also made a little joke by simply hashtagging #DualCitizenship early when Donald Trump started to take his lead.

Not everyone in the NBA or the country was going to be happy with the results of this election. However, at least these athletes like Wade are remaining at least a bit light-hearted as they see the “undesired” outcome in their eyes unfold.
