High Value PF

Gorgui Dieng-Minnesota Timberwolves (6,000): Dieng is the kind of play er that ends up in my FanDuel daily picks a lot since he can produce solid fantasy points in multiple ways while playing pretty solid minutes. Dieng had over 35 fantasy points in the first three games of the season playing over 34 minutes in each of those competitive games. The T-Wolves have limited his minutes in the last two games, though, resulting in just 7.8 fantasy points and 22.6 fantasy points. In what should be a good game against the Nets tonight, look for him to have a bounce-back night and be back to his usual workload.∗∗

Trevor Booker-Brooklyn Nets (5,300): Booker bounced back from a couple of down nights with a 12-13 double-double against Charlotte on Friday giving him 34.1 fantasy points. He has at least 27 fantasy points in four of his six games with the Nets, and he’ll continue to get good minutes moving forward as part of their starting 5. Booker will have a tough time tangling with Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Dieng on the defensive end, but he will have an advantage on the offensive end where his quickness could be hard for the two Minnesota bigs to compete with.

Mike Muscala-Atlanta Hawks (4,000): Muscala has been playing big minutes off the bench for Atlanta with Mike Scott and Tiago Splitter still sidelined. He only had 10.6 fantasy points in 21 minutes on Saturday, but he had at least 19 fantasy points in three of his previous five games which is enough to make him a value consideration at this price.∗∗

Channing Frye-Cleveland Cavaliers (3,700): On the other side of that Eastern Conference showdown in Cleveland, Frye is the best cheap PF play tonight after returning to the team after a bereavement absence with 15.8, 15.2 and 19.4 fantasy points. Frye is a mismatch problem for the Hawks as he showed in last year’s playoffs and he makes a solid flier at under 4K tonight.∗∗
