The Indianapolis Colts need some help on defense, as they are only a couple of pieces away from being able to challenge for an AFC title. Two years ago, the Colts made it to the AFC Championship Game, but were manhandled by the New England Patriots. Last year, they fell to 8-8, as Andrew Luck battled injuries for most of the season.

In 2016, Indianapolis has been a yo-yo, looking very good one week, and very bad the next. They have the pieces in place on offense, and despite an aging running back, have not struggled to put up points. However, their defense has been atrocious at time, and they need to upgrade at the linebacker position.

Not only do they need a new linebacker, but they need an athletic one who can run all over the field. That player is Zach Cunningham, who is one of the more gifted linebackers in all of college football. Cunningham showed just how athletic he is this past week, when he jumped over the line and blocked Auburn’s field goal. He just may be the best defensive player in the SEC.
