The Washington Redskins have quietly been a consistently player in the NFC East, where they were the division champs this past season. Though the team has not committed to a future where Kirk Cousins is their quarterback, he has played well enough to win more than his fair share of games. The issue in Washington has been in the trenches, where they get beat on a consistent basis.

The defense is ranked near the bottom of the NFL, and they need to do something that will help against the run. Lowell Lotulelei of Utah is one of the better defensive tackle prospects in all of college football, and would be solid at the nose position at the next level. His brother is a starter at the nose already in the NFL, and most believe Lowell is the better of the two.

Washington is pretty solid as a unit, and bolstering the defensive front would go a long way in the division they play in. They also need help on the offensive line, but the offense has done a nice job moving the ball this season. They cannot afford to give up 20-plus points every week, and adding Lotulelei would put a big body in the middle of their defensive line, and draw double-teams that would help in the pass rush.
