Week 11 is here and the FanSided staff is ready to make their college football picks and predictions for the week’s biggest games.
This week’s college football schedule doesn’t feature a jam-packed slate of games, but it does feature some games that have the potential to shake up the College Football Playoff picture.
The biggest game for Week 11 is the USC Trojans traveling to Seattle to take on the undefeated Washington Huskies and Heisman candidate, quarterback Jake Browning. The Huskies moved up to the fourth spot in the rankings this week and USC made a big move up to No. 20 but they can make an even bigger leap with an upset win on the road.
USC has been rejuvenated since making the switch to redshirt freshman quarterback Sam Darnold and the Trojans are one of the hottest teams in the country after a sluggish September. Helping us make the college football picks this week is Alicia de Artola who is the site expert for our USC team site Reign of Troy.
Darnold has added an electrifying playmaking ability and is getting his teammates involved because of his quick release, but he’s facing the toughest secondary he’s seen all year from the Huskies. Having said that, Alicia joined the FanSided staff members in picking Washington this week.
The USC-Washington game is the second Pac-12 game this week to see a clean sweep from our panel because they also feel strongly that the Utah Utes will have no trouble taking out the Arizona State Sun Devils on the road on Thursday night.
