High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,200): LeBron and the Cavs will be looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season as they take on the Wizards tonight. On Tuesday, James had 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and three steals against the Hawks but his 48.25 fantasy points weren’t enough for Cleveland to pull out the win. LeBron had posted double-double’s with assists in each of his two previous games finishing with 59.5 and 49.75 fantasy points. Tongiht, he’ll look to get back to that kind of total in a favorable matchup with the Wizards who have consistently been playing high-scoring contests (over 210 total points in five of seven games this year).∗∗

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (9,100): Kawhi set a new career-high for shot attempts on Wednesday while trying to help the Spurs keep up with James Harden and the Rockets. Before he gets a rematch with Houston tomorrow, Leonard takes on the Pistons tonight. Kawhi has at least 47 fantasy points in three of his last four games and is establishing himself as one of the most efficient scorers and multi-category producers in the NBA. Leonard is averaging 27.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 2.3 steals per game so far this season, and he’ll be looking to carry his Spurs to a win at home where they’re a disappointing 1-3 to start the season. One word of caution–the Spurs play again tomorrow so who knows what Coach Popovich may have in store for us tonight. Sine tonight’s game is home and tomorrow’s away, though, my guess is Kawhi and co. will play normal minutes tonight and may be rested tomorrow.

Carmelo Anthony-New York Knicks(7,400): Melo always brings his A-game when he faces the Celtics, and he comes in on a nice roll with three good games earlier this week. Anthony had 22 points and seven boards on Wednesday in Brooklyn finishing with 38.75 fantasy points. In his two previous games he had over 42 fantasy points and over 25 points aginst the Bulls and Jazz. He’s in a good matchup tonight against Boston who doesn’t have Jae Crowder, so play Anthony with confidence especially sine his price is so affordable compared to other elite SF options. ∗∗

Gordon Hayward-Utah Jazz (7,200): Remember when Hayward missed the first six games of the season? Apparently, he doesn’t since he has adjusted so quickly to his full-speed role in Utah’s offense. Hayward has scored at least 20 points in all three of his games back and posted 47.25 fantasy points against the Hornets on Wednesday. There still may be an adjustment at some point, but as of now, Hayward makes a good play since he hasn’t shown any signs of rust or needing to work his way back to full strength.

Otto Porter-Washington Wizards (6,500): Porter has been a regular in my DraftKings daily picks this year, but I didn’t have him on Wednesday against Boston when he went off for a career-high 34 points to go with 14 rebounds, four assists, three boards, and three assists for a massive 72.5 fantasy points. He has over 28 fantasy points in each of his last three and will look to keep producing huge numbers as he takes on the Cavs tonight. He’s sure to be a popular option, but I’m not 100% sold that he’s ready to produce on a regular basis. ∗∗
