High Value PF

Serge Ibaka-Orlando Magic (5,300): Ibaka has adjusted well to Orlando, but his offensive numbers haven’t taken the leap many were hoping for. Ibaka has scored at least 11 points in five of his last six games and is averaging 13 points per game. He’s adding over five rebounds per contest and has at least 22 fantasy points in four of his last six. Ibaka is a fairly safe option tonight against Utah’s big front line, but he doesn’t have a ultra-high ceiling in his current role. ∗∗

Marvin Williams-Charlotte Hornets (5,000): Williams had a season-high 19 points when he faced the Jazz on Wednesday adding eight rebounds for 29.1 fantasy points. He has at least 25 fantasy points in five of his eight games, but he can be a little inconsistent from game-to-game based on how the Hornets’ coach Steve Clifford plays his rotation.∗∗

Jon Leuer-Detroit Pistons (4,400): Leuer doesn’t start for the Pistons like Williams and Ibaka do for their teams, but he has been getting good minutes and production off the Detroit bench and is worth a look at under 5K. Leuer has at least 11 options in four straight games and has posted at least 22 fantasy points in each of those contests as well. Tongiht, he’ll tangle with the Spurs, but his playing time has been so unaffected by opponent and game situation that he’s actually a very “safe” option to get to 20+ fantasy points.

Marreese Speights-Los Angeles Clippers (3,900): Speights isn’t playing a ton of minutes for the Clippers, but he is playing a key role off the bench and putting up good fantasy points when give the opportunity. Spieghts had 21.8 fantasy points against the Thunder in their meeting a week ago Wednesday and has reached 25 fantasy points twice in the four games since then. He only played 15 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday but had a season-high 28.1 fantasy points on 12 points, eight boards, two blocks, and a steal. He’s risky based on his role, but his production gives him plenty of upside.∗∗
