Here’s how to watch Saturday’s Big 12 contest between the Kansas Jayhawks and Iowa State Cyclones online.
A pair of Big 12 teams will try to get their first conference wins of the season when the Iowa State Cyclones take on the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday afternoon in Lawrence.
Second-year head coach David Beaty has a lot of work to do to rebuild the Kansas football program, as the Jayhawks currently stand at 1-8 with a lone win over FCS Rhode Island. Other than a one-point loss against TCU back on October 8, the Jayhawks have been blown out in every Big 12 game.
There haven’t been too many bright spots for Kansas, which ranks near the bottom in the nation in both scoring offense and scoring defense. Senior running back Ke’aun Kinner has been Kansas’ most effective Jayhawk on offense with 93 carries for 492 yards and two touchdowns. Beaty has not yet determined who will start at quarterback for Kansas on Saturday with junior Montell Cozart dealing in the concussion protocol.

The Matt Campbell era is off to a 1-8 start at Iowa State, although the Cyclones at least have a win over a FBS team after crushing San Jose State in late September. Iowa State has played a few teams tough during Big 12 play with narrow losses to Baylor, Oklahoma State and Kansas State on its resume.
While it will take some time to build, Campbell eventually figures to have a high-powered offense in Ames after four years of success at Toledo. Junior wide receiver Allen Lazard has been effective with 48 catches for 658 yards and five touchdowns.
