After losing to Central Michigan at home and then Baylor to open conference play, it looked like the Oklahoma State Cowboys’ chances to win the Big 12 were effectively crushed. However, they have rebounded to win five straight games and are right there in the hunt.

On the other hand, Texas Tech has had a rough year. The Red Raiders began the season 3-1 and boasted one of the country’s most potent offenses, but they have since dropped four of five games to fall to 4-5. Kliff Kingsbury will be looking for answers this offseason.
The issues haven’t been related to Patrick Mahomes, though. The junior quarterback leads the top passing offense in the country with an unbelievable 3,886 yards and 31 touchdowns with eight picks and three games left. He will easily reach the 4,000-yard mark and potentially 40 touchdowns, barring an injury.
