How did the college football coaches on our hot seat list fare in Week 11?

There could be some changes real soon in college football. For many programs, there season is all but over and they’re getting ready for recruiting and next season. Others are hoping they can pull off the impossible and get to a bowl game still. In Week 11, the coaches on our hot seat had a split day, with some getting a win they needed and others digging a hole even bigger.. Let’s see how they did.

Rich Rodriguez

At this point, there’s not much Rich Rodriguez can say. His team isn’t getting better and injuries haven’t helped. After the game, Rodriguez felt almost speechless as his team got beat bad at home by Colorado. He sure looks frustrated with the terrible 2-8 mark that they hold.

Mark Helfrich

Helfrich might be gone real soon. With the rumblings of Oregon wanting to bring someone in with big money, Helfrich had to show that his team still has some fight left. They got rolled over by Stanford and now have seven losses. Don’t be surprise to see the move made real soon.

Jim Mora

He doesn’t really feel like a hot seat candidate, but Jim Mora couldn’t afford to let his season get away from him. His team got a win at home over Oregon State that they needed and they aren’t out of a bowl game yet.

Brian Kelly

The same thing can be said for Brian Kelly, who watched his Notre Dame Fighting Irish roll over Army. They have a tough schedule with USC still to go and they’ll likely hope they can get a 5-7 bid to get in. That would also require another win, which might not happen.

Steve Addazio

Boston College is on their way to missing a bowl game again. Florida State destroyed them and it was never even close. Addazio hasn’t done much to help his chances at all the rest of the way.
