High Value C

Joel Embiid-Philadelphia 76ers (5,400): It’s a good night to trust “The Process” as he comes back after resting on Saturday. Embiid played a season-high 26 minutes on Friday night against the Pacers and put together a career-high 25 points to how tie seven rebounds, two assists, and a block. The Rockets have struggled defensively down low at times this season which should set Embiid up for another big game tonight. His minutes cap appears to be lifting at least a little and he has at least 33 fantasy points in three of his last four games. While he’s an obvious choice under 6K, he’s also a really good one to target in a nice matchup tonight. Enjoy him at this price while you can. ∗∗

Clint Capela-Houston Rockets (4,600): If you like to go against the flow, Capela offers a nice way to do that tonight as he takes on Embiid head-to-head. The Sixers are allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing C so far this season, and Capela has scored in double-digits in four straight while posting over 28 fantasy points in two of his last three contests. If you can use the money and feel like taking on “The Process” with a contrarian play of your own, roll the dice with Capela tonight.

Kelly Olynyk-Boston Celtics (4,000): Olynyk has been great for my FanDuel daily picks in his last two games posting 30.9 fantasy points against the Knicks on Friday and following that with 28.2 fantasy points on Saturday in Indiana. He could lose some of his value (and/or his starting spot) if Al Horford returns tonight. However, the Pelicans defense has struggled so much against opposing bigs and he has been so good since returning that I’m rolling with him at this bargain price even if Horford is active.∗∗∗
