The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils will travel to face the West Virginia Mountaineers for a tipoff on Monday night. Here’s how you can watch this NCAA basketball game via live streaming.
On Monday, Nov. 14, the West Virginia Mountaineers (1-0) host the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils (0-1) at WVU Coliseum. The game will start at 7:00 p.m. ET and will be shown on ROOT.
WVU enters Monday after an impressive 87-59 win over Mount St. Mary’s on Friday. They got a well balanced effort, with their leading scorer Nathan Adrian getting 13 points. The Mountaineers had three players with at least 10 points and all but two of their players who got minutes scored at least one point. Without their two top scorers from last season, they will need this kind of balance all season long if they want to contend for a national title. Freshman Lamont West looked impressive with eight rebounds. Senior Brandon Watkins tied him for the team lead.
On the other side of the court, the Delta Devils are coming off a 94-63 loss to Northwestern on Friday. They will be on the road for the second straight game this season. Sophomore guard Marcus Romain led the team with 16 points. Forward Amos Given and guard Darrell Riley each added 11 points. Jamal Watson led the team with five rebounds.
The Mountaineers will be heavily favored in this game. Not only are they at home, WVU is also the better team by a significant margin. Expect this one to be a blowout.
