29. team. 57. Chicago lost once again with Jay Cutler remaining in the drivers seat. The Bears offense lost two of their best starters (Jordan Howard and Kyle Long) to leg injuries that may be season ending. Long was carted off with an air cast on his right leg, while Howard is said to have suffered an ankle/Achillies injury. On defense, Will Sutton also suffered an ankle injury, while Bobby Massie was placed under the concussion protocol. Four turnovers and nine penalties were the ultimate kiss of death for the Bears Sunday, and possibly for John Fox and Cutler.
Next Week: The Bears have yet to win on the road this season, and are 2-7 heading into East Rutherford to face the Giants. New York will be coming off a short week after playing Monday Night Football, but that will provide little advantage for this horrendous Bears squad.

Playoff hopes: Chicago is well out of the playoff race, and will be looking at quarterbacks with the possibility of having a top five pick next spring. Deshaun Watson, DeShone Kizer, and Mitch Trubisky will be the names to watch in the first round when the draft returns to Philadelphia.
. 2-7. Previous: . Chicago Bears
