9. team. 34. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum are laying hold to their claim as one of the best backcourts in the NBA. However, this year the Portland Trail Blazers seem to be more comfortable in the type of team that they want to be than at the beginning of last year. The Moe Harkless, Al Farouq Aminu, Mason Plumlee starting frontline is performing almost as well as they did during the playoffs last year. The addition of Evan Turner has even been working out for the Trail Blazers. What Portland can’t afford though is to get complacent. Even the slightest of improvements can pay dividends for this team. When everything is going they are a tough team to defend against as the smallest miscommunication could lead to a wide open shot..
