Golden State Warriors. 5. team. 41. From eighth to fifth, the super team is slowly gaining momentum. For all the greatness that comes with Steph Curry’s 13 three-pointers or Steph, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant combining to score 89 points, the Golden State Warriors still seem to be playing as if they possesses a light switch. We’ve seen them turn it on in games against the Portland Trail Blazers and Oklahoma City Thunder, but we’ve also seen them lack energy against the likes of the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns. While it’s reassuring to see that this team has the potential to be the dominant juggernaut that everyone foresaw in the preseason, it is concerning that this team has already started to run hot and cold so quickly. With a long regular season upon them it isn’t a surprise that they aren’t a full throttle every night and come postseason it should not be a problem (hopefully). All that being said, that four possession sequence against the Suns from Sunday night should be sent to the Basketball Hall of Fame and be played on an endless loop in an open room for all of eternity.. (8-2). Previous:
