Los Angeles Clippers. 2. team. 77. The Los Angeles Clippers are playing the best basketball in the NBA, however they still come in behind the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second consecutive week. The Clippers became the first team to hit double digit wins on the year after pouncing on top of the Brooklyn Nets for a home victory Monday night. Chris Paul is well on his way to capturing his first Most Valuable Player award if things hold up for the Clippers. After four years, we are finally seeing the full potential of a Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Chris Paul trio. What really has stood out for Los Angeles this season is the improvement we’ve seen from their bench. A year ago we were collectively making Austin Rivers jokes and now he and Jamal Crawford are leading one of the strongest second units in the NBA. We all know what the Clippers big three is capable of, it’s going to come down to whether or not the rest of the team will be able to answer the bell when called upon. If they keep answering in this resounding of a fashion they could be the foil to everyone’s perceived predetermined NBA Finals matchup.. (10-1). Previous:
