High Value PG

Tim Frazier-New Orleans Pelicans (5,900): Frazier’s time in the staring lineup (and probably my DraftKings daily picks) is quickly running out with Jrue Holiday nearing a return. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against the Magic, and he makes sense as a mid-range play once again. Frazier has at least 23 fantasy points in four of his last five games including a pair over 35 fantasy points. He should be near a double-double with points and assists tonight and I’d be surprised if he doesn’t get to 30 fantasy points against the Magic’s bad PG defense.

Marcus Smart-Boston Celtics (5,700): Smart missed the very beginning of the season with an ankle injury, but he has been steady since his return and has at least 21 fantasy points in five of his last six games including over 32 in two of his last three since joining Boston’s starting lineup. He had 35.5 fantasy points on Monday in the Celtics loss to New Orleans playing 37 minutes and totaling 15 points, six rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Smart could take ver more of the offense with Isaiah Thomas hurting, but he contiues to contribute in so many catgeories that he’s a pretty solid low-risk play even though he doesn’t have ultra-high upside.

Tomas Satoransky-Washington Wizards (4,600): The Wizards are playing a back-to-back starting tonight with a game agains the 76ers. They’ll be very careful with John Wall and Bradley Beal who are both trying to come back from injury. Even if both guards are active for both games, they’ll be on a minutes restriction which should lead to plenty of minutes for backup Tomas Satoransky. Satoransky had his best game of the season on Saturday in a start against Chicago producing 32 fantasy points on 12 points, nine assists, and a steal in 31 minutes. He has at least 15 fantasy points in four of his last five games and should continue to get more playing time for the Wizards. With a great matchup against the Sixers tonight, Satoransky could get plenty of mop-up duty and should play 25-30 minutes in almost any scenario. He’s a nice option under 5K.∗∗
