NFL Mock Draft: Deshaun Watson falling

The Pittsburgh Steelers are built on defense, and it has been that way since before I can remember. However, they have some guys on their defense who are entering the final years of their deals, and they need to inject some new blood on that side of the ball. Players like Lawrence Timmons and Jarvis Jones may be gone this offseason, so bolstering the defensive line is going to be key to offset those losses.

Enter Jonathan Allen, who has been a dominant force for the Alabama Crimson Tide for the past few years. He is an electric player, who always seems to be in the right place, at the right time. He has played in big time games in his career, and would integrate into the fabric of the culture of Pittsburgh extremely well.

Steelers fans love their defensive stars, and Allen could be the next big pass rusher to roam Heinz Field. He is an explosive player for a man his size, and has a nose for getting after the quarterback. He may be gone by the time the Steelers pick, but he would be perfect in the yellow and black if he is available.
