. WR. Washington. John Ross. 20. player. 54

Carson Wentz has proven to be worth the trade for him last year, as he is one of the better young arms in the NFC. While his play has been sporadic this season, he is still a rookie, and has shown himself to be a leader on the field. He will be the field general in Philadelphia for a long time, and it is time to start bringing in some young talent around him.

Wide receiver Jordan Matthews is a good player, and Zach Ertz is one of the better pass-catching tight ends in the league. However, Wentz needs that second option on the outside if he is going to be able to compete every year in a very tough division, so the Eagles should think about drafting a wide receiver with the pick they received from Minnesota.

John Ross of the Washington Huskies is a fun player to watch, and has that uncanny ability to go deep on every play. This past week, he made a fool out of probable first round pick Adoree’ Jackson, catching a deep ball from Jake Browning for a score. He is lighting quick, has incredible hands, and is not afraid to go over the middle. Just the kind of guy the die-hard Eagles fans love.
