The only team still undefeated in Pac-12 play? That would be the Washington State Cougars, who have shaken off two losses to start the season to win their last eight games. Led by uber-talented quarterback Luke Falk, the Cougars are the hottest team in college football, and Mike Leach’s Air Raid system has taken the Pac-12 by storm. Washington State has two tough games to finish the season, but with the way they are playing as a unit, they can definitely play with anybody.

This past week, the Cougars throttled Cal, as Falk outdueled the Golden Bears stellar quarterback, Davis Webb. Falk threw for 373 yards and five touchdowns against Cal, as the offense was unstoppable all game long. Running back Gerard Wicks led a rushing attack that approached 300 yards for the game, and River Cracraft and Gabe Marks combined for 16 catches and five touchdowns.

It has been an unbelievable rise for the Cougars, who were written off for dead after the first two weeks of the season. They are the one team nobody wants to play, but they will have to be on their game if they wish to finish the season undefeated in Pac-12 play. The Cougars will end the season at Colorado, and then hosting Washington, so they have a ton of heavy lifting left to do in 2016.
