The Tampa Bay Lightning travel to New York to take on the Buffalo Sabres for a 7:00 p.m. ET faceoff. Here’s how you can watch this NHL game online via live stream.

On Thursday, Nov. 17, the Buffalo Sabres (5-7-4) will host the Tampa Bay Lightning (10-6-1) at the KeyBank Center. The opening faceoff will be at 7:00 p.m. ET. This game will be aired on SUN in Florida and MSG-B in Buffalo.

Buffalo enters the game having lost two straight games after losing to the St. Louis Blues 4-1. They have won just two games in the month of November with a 2-4-2 record. Buffalo has been struggling without Ryan O’Reilly and Jack Eichel, their top two centers. They are among the worst teams in the NHL in scoring. However, they have also been one of the better teams defensively. Robin Lehner has emerged as a legitimate starting goalie for them.

On the other side of the ice, the Lightning have a 5-2-1 record in the month of November, including a 4-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday. They currently sit in third place in the Atlantic Division and are 5-4-0 on the road this season. Tampa Bay will be without captain Steven Stamkos, as he will miss the next four months with a knee injury. However, they went all the way to the Eastern Conference Final without him last season.

Even without Stamkos, the Lightning have the advantage in this game. They’ll be getting Jonathan Drouin back. While Drouin isn’t quite as good as Stamkos, the Sabres will still have their hands full against a very deep Tampa Bay team. Ben Bishop will be in net for the Lightning.
