High Salary SF

LeBron James-Cleveland Cavaliers (10,000):  James regularly torments the Pistons, and he should be back in action after taking a maintenance day on Wednesday against the Pacers. LeBron had his best fantasy game of the season the last time he suited up finishing with 62.25 fantasy points on 28-9-14 against the Raptors. LeBron has at least 48 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is one of the steadiest stars out there hardly ever posting a down night. If you can afford his salary, he’s a good play at home against Detroit.∗∗∗

Kawhi Leonard-San Antonio Spurs (8,800): Kawhi and the Spurs get the weekend off after tonight’s game in LA against the Lakers, so look for Leonard to get his full complement of minutes. He has been up-and-a little bit lately, but is still such a multi-category threat that his upside is worth considering every time he takes the floor.  He has been held under 33 fantasy points three times in his last six games, though, so he’s riskier than usual at over 8K tonight.

Paul George-Indiana Pacers (8,100): UPDATE: Paul George is OUT tonight against the Suns.

Harrison Barnes-Dallas Mavericks (6,600): When Barnes left the Warriors he wanted to find a place where he could be more involved on offense. I don’t think he meant carrying ALL the offense like he is having to do now for the Mavericks. Dallas has been crushed by injuries including Deron Williams, J.J. Barea, and Dirk Nowitzki leaving the offense up to Barnes. Fortunately, he has risen to the task and scored at least 20 points in five straight games. He has 29+ fantasy points in each of those contests with over 33 in four of them. He’ll be back home tonight in Dallas where he had 51.5 fantasy points in his last home game against the Bucks while playing a massive 48 minutes. With all the injuries and absences, he’ll have to carry the load again tonight as he takes on the Grizzlies and his predecessor in Dallas Chandler Parsons.
