High Salary PF

Blake Griffin-Los Angeles Clippers (8,800): With Anthony Davis battling a quad contusion, Blake Griffin becomes the top-dollar PF to stage in tonight’s great matchup against the Kings. Griffin has scored at least 20 points in each of his last five games and has at least 37 fantasy points in seven straight. He’s played limited minutes in some contests due to blowouts which could be the case tonight, but even then he has produced enough early to still be a solid option. I doubt he explodes, but he’s a safe way to invest your money since he has been so consistent all season.∗∗

Paul Millsap-Atlanta Hawks (7,400): Millsap continues to be the hard-working, reliable option for the Hawks and DFS owners. He had 21 points against the Bucks on Wednesdana and added in solid non-scoring numbers to get to 39.1 fantasy points. He has at least 31 fantasy points in three of his last four and over 30 fantasy points in seven of his 11 games this year. When the Hawks play tougher opponents (like Charlotte is tonight), Millsap seems to rise to the occasion. While his block numbers are down this year he continues to have the potential for 40+ fantasy points any given night and be one of the more multi-faceted producers in the mid-range on the salary chart.

Julius Randle-Los Angeles Lakers (6,700): Speaking of potential for over 40 fantasy points, Randle has reached that mark twice in his last three games including an extremely impressive 17-14-10 triple double on Tuesday against the Nets. He had 45.8 fantasy points in that game which gives him over 31 fantasy points in five of his last seven games making him a solid investment at PF tonight agains the Spurs who have struggled a bit on the interior defensively after losing Tim Duncan. ∗∗

Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,300): “The Return of the Manimal” seems to b e a real thing in Denver, and in his two games back in the starting lineup Faried has dropped 45.3 and 44 fantasy points with massive double-doubles and good defensive numbers. Remeber, though, that those games did come against the Blazers and Suns and he’s still playing under 30 minutes a night. I expect him to cool off a little, but still be a good value tonight turning in between 25-30 fantasy points.
