2. Rich Rodriguez

You sort of have to feel bad for Rich Rodriguez here. He’s trying everything he can to keep his Arizona Wildcats playing competitive but he’s running out of answers. After losing to Colorado this past week, Rodriguez was frustrated and didn’t know what to say.

Injuries and bad football have set the tone for his team on the year and he has to wonder where the turnaround is going to be. His last two games will offer him better chances to win, but with only two on the year that can’t be assumed.

The Wildcats will travel to Corvallis to play the Oregon State Beavers this week. The Beavers also have just two wins on the season and desperately want one of their own. If the Wildcats come out with fight, it would go a long for Rodriguez and simply show that his team just struggles against better opponents.

If they roll over against a bad team, then that’s about the worst possible thing that can happen for him. The Wildcats need to be competitive and make sure that this thing comes down to the wire if they aren’t going to win.
