The Stanford Cardinal will head to Memorial Stadium to take on the California Golden Bears on Saturday. Here is how to watch online.
Christian McCaffrey has looked like his old self lately, and the Stanford Cardinal are back to their winning ways. The Cardinal have won three straight, and suddenly their 4-3 record looks like a distant memory.
At 7-3, the Cardinal appear to be finding their stride at the right time, and will meet up with a Cal team fresh off a drubbing at the hands of Washington State in Week 11.
The Golden Bears had no answer for Cougars quarterback Luke Falk last Saturday, as Falk threw for five touchdowns against them. Cal’s bugaboo all season long has been their defense, which allows over 40 points per game.
They had better bring their “A” game if they hope to stop a Stanford team that has not lost since inserting Keller Chryst into the starting quarterback role.

Chryst had his best game of his collegiate career this past weekend, throwing for three touchdowns against Stanford. The win catapulted the Cardinal back into the top-25, and put them in position to earn a shot at a bigger bowl this season. While a Pac-12 Championship is off of the table, the team could still finish near the top of the conference with a strong finish to the season.

McCaffrey will likely have a big day against a Cal defense that has not been able to stop anybody this season. Cal’s star wide receiver Chad Hansen may miss the game on Saturday, after leaving last week’s game with an injury. If Chryst contiues to progress in his development at the quarterback position, the Cardinal should be able to challenge for a Pac-12 title once again next season.

Cal quarterback Davis Webb is one of the better signal-callers in the Pac-12, and he is going to get his yards on Saturday. However, the Golden Bears are limping to the finish line, and even Webb is nursing a sore shoulder. There should be plenty of points to go around in this one, but Stanford should run their win streak to four games.
