Everyone loves a North London Derby and this one is shaping up to be a classic. Teams at either end of the table meet in an all-important Premier League affair.
Spurs update
Spurs remain the only unbeaten team in the league after 11 games. The North Londoners, however, are plagued with the inability to claim all three points, drawing a league-leading six matches. That equates to 12 lost points and is the main reason Spurs aren’t in a top-four position.
Harry Kane is back in full force and will start for Spurs. He’ll be chomping at the bit to score against West Ham after scoring from the spot in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in his first match back from injury before the international break.
Toby Alderweireld (knee), Erik Lamela (hip) and Ben Davies (ankle) are ruled out while Dele Alli (knee) is doubtful.
Danny Rose, Christian Eriksen, Mousa Dembele and Vincent Janssen have all recovered from slight knocks and are available along with Moussa Sissoko, who is back from suspension.
West Ham update
Entrenched in the relegation dogfight, West Ham are still trying to find last season’s form. The Hammers, only one point clear of the dropzone, have 11 points from as many games.
West Ham are blighted by a number of injuries.
Gokhan Tore, Sam Byram, Arthur Masuaku and Andy Carroll are all still out. To make matters worse, Mark Noble made a rash challenge in the dying minutes against Stoke, ensuring he’d miss this pivotal match through suspension.
