Watford went into the international break on something of a downer after losing 6-1 to Liverpool at Anfield. The result was disappointing, but they weren’t the first and they probably won’t be the last side to get soundly beaten by the Reds this season. Other than that result, the Hornets have enjoyed a solid season under new manager Walter Mazzarri. They’re in eighth place after 11 games, and could challenge for a spot in the Europa League if they maintain consistency.

It’s been somewhat of a disappointing season for Leicester in the Premier League, but perhaps that was to be expected following their most unlikely title triumph last term. And besides, the Foxes have been mightily impressive in their debut Champions League campaign, so it’s hard to be too critical. They’re 14th in the league, but would move ahead of Watford with three points on Saturday. That would require a more focused performance than their last match, when they fell 2-1 to West Brom. Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have failed to recapture last season’s form, while N’Golo Kante has been a big miss in midfield. Still, there’s enough talent in this team to finish comfortably in the top half.
