A look at how to watch Saturday afternoon’s game between the Western Michigan Broncos and the Buffalo Bulls.
One game not normally worth tuning into would be a Western Michigan vs. Buffalo college football game. They’re usually two irrelevant schools, but in the 2016 season, the Broncos have been perfect at 10-0 and are ranked No. 21 in the College Football Playoff ranking. The AP poll has them at No. 14.
Another fun part of Western Michigan’s season will be on Saturday. While they should be able to beat Buffalo, College GameDay will be on campus in Kalamazoo, MI, for their latest show. This will shine a light on the terrific season of WMU’s and how they have a good possibility of finishing the year perfect. It should make for a special occasion for the pre-game activities.
Western Michigan has mostly dominated their competition. They most notably beat Illinois and Northwestern, both of the Big Ten conference. The Broncos recently beat Kent State, 37-21, but had to work a comeback after being down by four points at the half. They had 329 rushing yards and four touchdowns, all of which came from four different players. Jarvion Franklin led the way with 134 yards on 31 carries. This led to quarterback Zach Terrell only throwing 13 passes for 83 yards, by far his season low.
As for the WMU defense, they limited Kent State to just 75 passing yards, but allowed 220 on the ground. It’s something that may need to be tightened up to ensure a perfect season.
