The Dallas Cowboys will have Tony Romo back on the field come Sunday afternoon, while the Kansas City Chiefs will be without Marcus Peters.

Dallas is 8-1 and sticking with quarterback Dak Prescott, but that doesn’t mean dressing in suits all year long for Romo. The veteran will be on the sideline today as the backup, just in case Prescott goes down with an injury.

Romo has not played all season after breaking a vertebrae in the preseason against the Seattle Seahawks. He’s finally healthy enough to get back into action, although it appears his role will be one of mentoring above all else.

The Cowboys will also have wide receiver Dez Bryant, who has been battling various injuries throughout the campaign. Bryant is the linchpin to the offense for Prescott, although one could argue that Ezekiel Elliott is the more important piece at the moment.

Meanwhile, Kansas City will be without Marcus Peters, who did not practice all week as he recovers from a hip pointer. The Chiefs are 7-2 and trying to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arrowhead Stadium, but Mike Evans could go off. On the plus side for the Chiefs, outside linebacker Justin Houston will be back for the first time this season.
